I suggest that before you listen to the news you call a reputable mortgage banker and find out if you qualify. Start with our smaller, local banks. Ask about any first time home buyer programs they may have. Check online with the Housing Development Fund for their first time home buyer program. New Milford real estate has some great prices for the first time home buyer. Don't give up your dream because someone else told you that it is impossible. It is possible! Prices are down, interest rates are down, inventory is up. It is absolutely a buyers market!
